The Cidade do Sol project is located in the west of the state of Bahia in Brazil and is an ecosystem created by Grupo Asad and its agribusiness, energy and biodiversity & carbon verticals.

 

It is a mix and match of a photovoltaic plant with 720MW of power and a protected area of almost 10 thousand hectares of ​native biome that will produce carbon and biodiversity credits.

 

Cidade do Sol marks the beginning of a challenging agenda for he Group, which has mapped more than 1.5M hectares of land in different regions of Brazil, with potential for the development of more than 10 structured projects as Cidade do Sol.
